The instructors are highly-trained specialists serving with United Kingdom Rescue Organisation (UKRO), UK International Search & Rescue (UKISAR), military or emergency services, with a minimum of 10 years’ active duty; extensive practical experience of specific emergency/disaster situations in senior management/command roles and not less than 4 years’ experience at senior instructor level at a national training establishment.
Training programmes are structured as a series of incremental modules, which combine to provide significant operational capability enhancement. They involve a high degree of practical demonstrations and scenario simulations. Training courses benefit from City & Guilds accreditation and will be conducted in accordance with the internationally recognised ISO 9001:2008 quality standard
